Scots fans of the X-Files need look no further than their own doorsteps
for true life mysteries of bizarre UFO`S. Because Scotland has become
the Capital of the World where weird goings – on are concerned.
In the village of Bonnybridge,near Falkirk over 2,000 people have
reported strange lights in the sky.Here are 10 of Scotland`s unsolved
mysteries which could use the skills of FBI AGENTS Fox Mulder and Dana
Scully.
Ayrshire,May 1978
The Nine O`Clock News shows a film of an orange and white UFO hovering
over the Ayrshire sky by Kilmarnock photographer Rick Walker.

Livingston,November 1979
Forestry worker Robert Taylor sees a spherical object in a clearing.Two
small spikes rush towards him and try to drag him away tearing his
trousers.He loses consciousness and awakes with a raging thirst hours
later.
Official Explanation: A mirage of the planet Venus caused a distortion
of the Earths atmosphere.
Dumfries, August 1980
Police hold a special Press conference after five officers are among
those who see a brightly – lit object in the sky.

Glasgow, December 1983
Tom Coventry is waiting for a bus to work at 6am when a bright light
which looks like a railway carriage with portholes surrounding it comes
to a stop 20 feet above him before zooming away.

Orkney, January 1992
A post mortem finds that the heads of dozens of seals have been cut off
using an unknown form of advanced surgery.

A security camera shows a two-foot round object hovering outside
Glenochil Prison before zooming over a fence.

Three cleaners on their way to work see five UFO`S firing beams of light
at one another.

Hotel boss sparks a UFO alert when a meteor burns a hole in a window
before disappearing in a sizzling cloud of smoke.
